Phones are of course more slippery than ever as they've grown and slimmed and've developed a whole touch screen on one side. But I also wonder what material you'd manufacture right onto a phone that doesn't just cheapen it to most people, like the lame helmet they give you when you rent a motorcycle. A cool brushed metal feel vs the cracking rubber and yellowing rubber on my girlfriend's cheap android. Either way I'm not sure why one wouldn't put it in a case.
