I have an iPhone 6 that I brought in for battery replacement. Genius bar appointment was the next night and I stopped by after work. It took about 20 minutes before a technician was free so I enjoyed looking at the crazy large screen they installed in the store. Technician confirmed my symptoms (battery won’t charge, random shut downs) and told me the batteries were 2 weeks back ordered. 2 weeks later, got a call that I could come in anytime to replace my battery with an overnight turnaround. Dropped off phone, picked up the next morning for $29 never once got an upsell to a better phone.
