Because Visa don't own the whole credit card platform, there's also Mastercard, Amex, etc. And Visa are still trying with their "Visa Checkout" tech (whose value proposition I still don't understand).
- brucephillips 9y agoComcast isn't a monopoly either. An incumbent need not be a monopoly to have distribution advantages.
- handelaar 9y agoTivo era, mostly before satellite TV... who in a Comcast area was able to pick another provider?
