- jwdunne 9y agoThis made me chuckle. I had the pan of the condo in mind whilst reading it too.
- mherrmann 9y agoSame here. Such a shame about his (apparently) dark past.
- mseebach 9y agoIt’s a reminder to assess people on their actions, especially the outcomes (rather than intentions) of their actions, and not speculation on what might be in their heads.
- osrec 9y agoIf you're referring to his fascist involvement, he later described it as one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
- johnchristopher 9y agoI read it while getting ready to go and buy some white transparent boxes :).
- kosma 9y agoThat's a funny way to spell "SAMLA" :)
- zeristor 9y ago"I am Jack's living room"
- mseebach 9y agoEven the purported difficulty of assembling the furniture: When we moved last time, we decided that it was time to invest in some “proper” furniture (at, uhm, decidedly non-Ikea prices) and all of it needed to be assembled in some manner or other (one shelf-system rather extensively so) and the instructions were singularly opaque and the steps required convoluted and difficult. You can get into some interesting gymnastics with Ikea stuff, especially when you try to skimp on the “two person” recommendation, but nothing like this. I love our new furniture, but I’m never laughing at an Ikea-assembly-joke again.
- cortesoft 9y agoI REALLY don't understand that trope; IKEA furniture is so crazy easy to build. The directions are always precise with no ambiguity, without using any words.
