  How did you manage to do this? I'm in the same boat. I have the username, password and recovery key yet I can't login and the website tells me that recovery has been disabled for my account.

  Same. Friend of mine tipped me off to having rediscovered his account, I gave it a try, and everything worked out after the conversion to the new platform (which is when STR became XLM). This was maybe 4-5 weeks ago.
