- TheOtherHobbes 9y agoI don't understand how you can stay in the foetal position while floating. Even face-up foetal (without a mask) seems very likely to be stressful.
- bennyp101 9y agoHe would have inflated his BCD when he got to the surface, and that would have kept him afloat, probably dropped his weights as well. That way his kit is actually keeping him afloat.
- rtkwe 9y agoHe had a buoyancy compensation device, pretty much a life jacket with adjustable buoyancy, so he'd wind up in the HELP position like this.
