  I would be amazed if most important physical, mental, or social characteristics had zero underlying biological or genetic drivers, or if they were completely driven by underlying biology. Even small underlying differences can be amplified through compounding effects over a lifetime of decisions, through culture, etc. (The easy ones are male/female; racial differences are far less.)
