- mercutio2 9y agoPerhaps you’re missing that this is an EU fine for past behavior, so the timelines work perfectly? The exclusivity agreement expired in 2016. The fine is for that period. Since exclusivity ended, Apple has been trying to buy baseband chips from other suppliers without paying Qualcomm’s allegedly non-FRAND patent terms.
