- AnimalMuppet 9y agoIf you shop in a neighborhood store, and your neighbors also shop there, you run into people you know at the grocery store. Not employees, but customers.
- herodotus 9y agoI shop at a neighbourhood grocery store, and I regularly chat with the checkout staff. One of them brought her daughter to our house on Halloween. I know many of them by name. Sure its not a deep connection, but it is a friendly "Hi, how are you doing".
