are you seriously comparing inefficient python code to humans?

  If you choose to measure something in simply one dimension, don't be surprised (offended?) when someone else builds on your premise. Humans are objectively terrible for the environment. Now you might start to argue other metrics instead, or that on an nth removed degree it/we might result in a net positive, but then you've abandoned your initial premise anyways.
