- CobrastanJorji 9y agoThat one makes more sense, though. Foreign diplomats basically can't be charged with traffic crimes, and it's generally agreed internationally that this is sort of okay. That's substantially different from a cabal of police officers independently deciding to hand out "special treatment" tokens.
- digi_owl 9y agoStill leads to family members of the diplomat trying to pull one. Seems that in USA a diplomat or their family can be issued traffic ticket, but can't be detained, prosecuted, or have their residence searched.
