Don't assume they know what you are talking about. I've worked with medical doctors and lawyers who are super smart and make hundreds of dollars an hour. If I were rude to them, they would work with someone else. Our experience is different. I know bits and bytes like the back of my hand. They know their areas just as well. Respect that and them and they will love you. Talk down to them or treat them rudely and they'll work with someone else.
