We’re B2C selling globally. We implemented VAT ourselves on top of Stripe. It’s a pain though. But it’s not only VAT MESS as they call it. At least in Germany tax is complicated and bureaucratic with freelancers and corporation tax rules. If I could start fresh, I would probably set up a company in Singapore. Moving an existing business is FAR more complicated... There’s a pretty great post from the Ghost founder about it (on mobile so can’t look it up easily). Worth considering in my opinion.
