This is almost exactly the same philosophical discussion as "if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?", except with politics mixed in for extra spice.
- whatshisface 9y agoIf your tree-death metric depended on the number of people who claimed to have heard a tree fall, tree deaths would appear to increase with greater numbers of hikers. Statistical polution is far from a purely philosophical issue...
