And what happens when you get hacked. Email is the root of trust for at least 90% of my accounts online.

What happens when they run out of money, get sold, or get their C-suite management replaced by investors who want to make back their investment? If it's stored somewhere at a cool startup, odds are it will make it into a third-party's hands eventually.
