I don't buy the author's conclusion. I've deployed both Python and Node.js projects to AWS Lambda. I used Zappa (https://www.zappa.io/ https://www.zappa.io/) and Claudia.js (https://claudiajs.com/ https://claudiajs.com/) to deploy them, and only added minimal configuration to my codebase. If LOC is growing in the manner described, something is very wrong with the team's methods of configuration/deployment.
