Well, you’re also completely ignoring many tradeoffs. For instance, it is cheaper to use 10k concurrent lambda invocations than it is to spin up the equivalent ec2 instances. There’s also the dev time allocated to maintainint the server infrastructure itself. Serverless may be a disingenuous term, but it does refer to a useful thing.
