- dctoedt 16y agoI suppose volunteer work doesn't cut it any more, because we've solve all the problems that used to afflict people? Nor continuing-education classes, because we all know everything we'll ever need to know? </sardonic> Seriously, an excess of leisure time may be another manifestation of business efficiencies brought about by technology improvements (the most obvious manifestation being unemployment). The long-term sociological implications could be interesting.
