If you're an engineer at a startup (or sometimes even at an "adult" company), you've probably heard the line from your marketing team, "hey, can you install this [some random marketing or analytics tool] onto our website?" I get that all the time since I mostly work on the front end. For my solution, I use tools like Google Tag Manager, Segment, and mParticle. In this post, I walk you through how I installed Intercom via Google Tag Manager.
