- beamatronic 9y agoI remember that! I believe it did some small amount of damage to the drive. Head needed to be realigned or such.
- vidarh 9y agoYou're right. It works because there's no protection against trying to send the drive head past where it's meant to be able to go, because nobody expected anyone would try to repeatedly ask it to move out of bounds, and the vibration can easily get the head out of alignment.
