I'm the same. Also been staring at computer screens since 1982, with no obvious problems. Getting old is annoying though: my arms are now not quite long enough to focus perfectly on my phone screen without my reading glasses, but a +1 pair of supermarket glasses is enough to fix that. Distance vision is still fine.
The great thing about LCDs is that even in my 50s I can place them far enough away to use without even needing reading glasses. CRTs were so bulky, it was really hard to do that (but back then, I didn't need to).
Anyway, just another datapoint that intensive screen use for 3.5 decades doesn't have to cause issues.
