In what way is it more of a risk over downloading and executing an installer from the same site? The only reason I can think of is if the script partially down

In what way is it more of a risk over downloading and executing an installer from the same site? The only reason I can think of is if the script partially downloads and only half executes. Doesn't seem "massive" though...
