I agree there is certain period in one's life retrospective actions and corrective measures should happen. There does cause harm to not getting out of it and put them in practice. I had such a period as well learned everything you just said above. I even thought I'm somewhat enlightened, but when I put myself in test, I have failed. Then again, failure is still part of corrective actions. One never stops learning and self improving.
