Not crazy about having "Fifteen Amazing Tips" lists on HN, but this one did make me smile: > Never ask for an NDA from third parties, except a) actual employees, b) contractors, or c) key business partners. Don't ask for an NDA from friends, potential employees, or potential investors. If you do, they'll say no, and they'll know you're amateur hour.
