- alvah 9y agoAre you saying women no longer tend to be hypergamous? That seems a bit of a stretch, to put it mildly.
- noir_lord 9y agoNo idea but saying "women are <foo>" is dangerous when women as a group are ~3.5bn people. Without some kind of qualifier it's a shade pointless.
- alvah 9y agoI used "tend to be" rather than "are". Obviously not all women are like that. There is, however, a large volume of research indicating hypergamous tendencies in women. As I mentioned above, this used to be uncontroversial, but now seems subject to revision, without any facts being presented to support the revision.
