- dullgiulio 9y agoThat's not true. You cannot buy food with Bitcoin, you have to exchange it. And to do that, you have to sign up to some exchange or equivalent. Many of such exchanges have turned out to be a bit more dodgy than the typical first world bank. Plus, huge volatility and high fees.
