- Stanleyc23 9y agoisn't their "no commercials" policy just about serving other people's ads? I don't see how that's relevant here
- krutzger 9y agoThere was some talk about netflix advertising their other shows between streams but once people threatened to cancel their subscriptions they scraped that. also, you missed the joke.

A world where this is the sole form of advertising is far, far better than the one with TV ads and billboards which we currently got. Why? Its informative, thought-provoking / stimulates critical thinking, its a form of humor, and it is very much optional / choice. The only bad thing you get with Netflix, is DRM, and some heavy internal profiling to keep you hooked. But the latter is arguably a good thing.
