I'm curious why you would need to block MAC addresses. Why wouldn't just not plugging in ethernet and not giving it the WiFi password be sufficient to stop you

I'm curious why you would need to block MAC addresses. Why wouldn't just not plugging in ethernet and not giving it the WiFi password be sufficient to stop your TV from going online?
- osaariki 9y agoJust a guess: having the TV think it has an internet connection might prevent annoying prompts to connect it to the internet.
