A similar fee already exists for NJ Transit's Newark Airport station. Trips with that station as a terminus have an extra fee attached, which in turn pays for the train that takes people from the station to the airport terminals.
- lazerpants 9y agoThe Airtrain is the worst though, it's slow, and narrows to one lane while crossing the freeway (so you have to wait for trains to pass), it's excruciating to take if you're worried about being late for a flight. And it costs $5.50. Which is about what a taxi from the NJT station to the airport should cost.
