Sure, Google's primary business is in advertising, but when we consider security too, Google suddenly looks much better.
So in the question of who do I trust my data with. I will have to pick Google.
Though nowadays with 2 factor authentication, any service should be secure enough against external attacks.
- mikepurvis 9y agoExternal attacks are only half the story. What about the thousands of employees (especially the SREs) who may or may not be a few clicks away from root access on the machine which contains your email?
