For me, it's VM or nothing. The maximum speed I can get for broadband in my area (South Birmingham) is about 4mbps. But I get 200mbps with Virgin for not much more than the ADSL equivilent. I _always_ get the advertised speed, and sometimes more. I've not had any issues with them in 10 years, but it'd be nice to have a bit of competition!
