I can't recommend this enough. Eating local is very bad for the environment, unless you're eating only what grows nearby better than anywhere else.

Eating local is very bad for the environment, unless you're eating only what grows nearby better than anywhere else.
- fleitz 9y agoI swear most people believe that food is transported by small family sedans and hand picked by actual people. If this were the case it would probably be a great idea to eat local. Of course most people don't want to admit that the most gas is spent bringing their groceries home than anywhere else in the supply chain.
