I think people will come up with good sharding and safe off chain solutions to mitigate transaction speed latency. I think the bubble actually incentivizes that.
- realusername 9y agoI think it already started in that direction with the next-generation of currencies like Raiblocks and IOTA. You will probably have currencies which will iterate on top of that in the future to improve it even more.
- malux85 9y agoWe have this with our "Hybrid nodes" they are doing exactly that - compensating for the chain weaknesses until the technology catches up, and we have systems in place to easily migrate this functionality on-chain so that we're ready ahead of time
- xur17 9y agoAre there specific projects that are using hybrid nodes? I'm curious to read more about this.
- wyldfire 9y agoThere's delegated proof of stake coins that have better scalability. Raiblocks doesn't have contention over a single blockchain and gets much better throughput and latency. "Lightning Network" will really help the PoW coins too.
