- JeremyChase 16y agoTheir fact-checking needs some work. Consumerist was sold from Gawker Media in late 2008.
- mdolon 16y agoInteresting how Wikileaks isn't on the list, considering the attention it's received lately.
- flatulent1 16y agoIt's surprising that Slashdot isn't in there, but it isn't a survey measuring traffic.
- mdolon 16y agoFrom the article: "Here are our picks for the hottest Web sites and Web trends of the year, plus some old favorites to enjoy." I didn't mention traffic at all, just that Wikileaks has received a lot of attention (both positive and negative). It has undoubtedly been highly impactful in our society, government and media. With all the media coverage in the last couple of months, it seems like it would have been an obvious choice.
