> Five Reasons I Like Fortnite BR Way Better Than Battlegrounds
Her latest article. A bunch of her other articles are like that as well. I believe that you are the incorrect one here.
- mikestew 9y agoThe article delivered what the headline promised (and was pretty spot on, but I prefer Fortnite myself). How is that clickbait? Have you considered that the word does not mean what you think it does?
- lozenge 9y agoListicle and clickbait isn't the same thing. That headline probably describes the article very well.
- manicdee 9y agoA wild champion of ethics in video game journalism appears! The headline you quoted describes the content precisely and succinctly, like a headline should. Click bait is defined by outrageous headlines which do not brief the reader on the nature of the content. Those headlines and articles are designed to lure a reader in using misdirection and lying: see James Hamblin, “It’s Everywhere, the Clickbait,” The Atlantic, 2014-11-11, https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2014/11/clickbait-what-is/382545 https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2014/11/cl...
