Just tested my Macbook Pro (2016 model) with a 120 FPS camera and apparently there is no flickering in the display, however the keyboard backlight appears to use PWM.
- systoll 9y agoSame for 2017. I think a lot of it is down to the usage scenario, but the keyboard is the most obvious ‘flickerer’ I’ve seen... anywhere. A screen like that [or a mandatory keyboard backlight] would be an instant dealbreaker to me.
