I'm referring to Socialism as it's author intended. Precise language is a feature not a bug, and helps cut down on misunderstandings and needless confusion/arguments. Calling a free market welfare state, socialist, is like saying 'literally' when you literally meant 'figuratively'. Without vocal cues or meaningful context, you'll be misunderstood.
