As a man, learning to code also changed my life. Would anyone like to read about my story and my perspective as a man?
- jjeaff 9y agoProbably not, since being a male programmer is hardly unique in any way. Probably should pick a different angle for your story.
- crimsonalucard 9y agoYou're saying that a male is less unique then a female programmer? Males and Females are equal. To say otherwise is extremely sexist and immoral.
- jjeaff 9y agoYes, a "male programmer" is objectively less unique than a "female programmer" all else being equal.
- crimsonalucard 9y agoYour statement is objectively correct, but also objectively sexist.

Probably there is an audience for it, but probably not particularly either the audience for which the Glamour article is primarily published (who aren't men) or the HN audience (among whom men who already know how learning programming changed their own life are decidedly overrepresented.)
