It is such an obvious rip-off, I just don't get it. 100% pre-mined. Essentially centrally controlled. Do a little searching on Jeb (remember a business called MtGox?). Mark is made out to be the daemon but look into the history of the site. Disclaimer: I'm long on Bitcoin as well, longer than I want to be. Bitcoin is hugely overpriced IMHO. The technology has some promise but there are gigantic challenges to overcome. Ripple is a totally different beast, like comparing cats and bananas.
