The NYT has a long history of bias in favor of the major powers in the US: the military being one of them: https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_561532ade4b0fad1591a3193 https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_561532ade4b0fad1591a3193 Also, 'mainstream bias,' for lack or a better term, is still bias.   You lost me at "unjust death... is not any different than murder..." Those are clearly different things to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you?

    If a nation's military kills you for profit, that is no different than murder. But our healthcare lobbies also kill people, as do the banks and Fed. That is what I was trying to get at with a general statement, but failed to say accurately.
