I'm really glad to see a public option. I still want companies to have the option to compete, but a public option, IMO, is the best bet against the monopolies.

- rch 9y agoIt makes sense for the city to provide fibre and let co-ops, non-profits, and corporations compete for subscribers. The city shouldn't have to manage the Netflix appliance, for instance.
