They definitely got the writing part nailed. Also they are dabbling with philosophy. I think they'll make it. On a slightly more serious note, some people (yep, I have read Sapiens) would argue that religions, ideologies, and corporations are all variations of the concept of shared belief systems. That is, the human ability to collectively make stuff up and pretend that it's real. Thus, corporations and religions are more or less the same thing. It's an interesting way to look at it IMHO.
