Why use a PGP key instead of symmetric encryption (either with a random key encrypted with your master password, or a key derived from your master password)?
- proaralyst 9y agoInsertion/generation don't prompt you for your password.
- aendruk 9y agoAn OpenPGP key can be stronger and securely carried around on a smart card (e.g. YubiKey).
