AWS had scheduled maintenance requiring reboot of all EC2 instances in December. Maybe this is somehow related.
- chillydawg 9y agoIt wasn't all instances. Only one of mine needed a reboot.
- nobody987 9y agoIn my case the reboot was scheduled for most (if not all) EC2 and RDS instances.
- evfanknitram 9y agoAzure in the start of January.
- butz 9y agoSome EC2 instances will be rebooted this week, but notification was sent a few weeks ago - probably routine maintenance.
- thenickdude 9y agoI think it was just their paravirtual instances that have a scheduled reboot. I haven't heard that any of the newer HVM ones are affected.
- bluedonuts 9y agoWe had a large % of our longer running instances have scheduled reboots in Dec. Is it linked and if so does that mean AWS have already patched?
