Perhaps the bees died to some other cause (e.g. a mistake related to the cold), and the owners, fearing bankruptcy, embarrassment, smashed their own hives in a last-ditch effort to save themselves.
- jws 9y agoPossible… I'll go with the bees, after years of guilt for enslaving humans to care for them realized the only way to free the humans was to kill themselves, so they hired a hit from Craigslist to end their existence and free the poor humans from a lifetime of servitude.
