This administration is such a clown act. H1B's bad/unnecessary. H2B's good/necessary. I think it's obvious the idea is to be protectionist with tech jobs, making those people more inclined to vote for party/people who have enacted that protectionism. Meanwhile at the low end of the scale, competition is good to keep low end wages suppressed. It's protecting classism.
