Within a year? Seriously?
- krapp 9y agoFair enough, maybe that was a bit hyperbolic. An electronic device still wouldn't be useful as long as paper, at least not for the average person. There's no planned obsolescence or EOL with paper.
- zwischenzug 9y agoMost of the books I own will crumble to dust in 100 years, I understand. That said, so will most data formats.
- icebraining 9y agoSo what? I have an MP3 file on my laptop that I first downloaded in 1999. Who cares if the physical support that encodes it is long gone? It's not like we're going to give up on using computers even if we do keep using paper, so there's no savings there, only extra waste.
