I just want fax to go away.
- tehlike 9y agoWhat did you use it for last time?
- tyingq 9y agoIt's still in big use in many spaces. Like withdrawal from a 401k, or sales orders from a manufacturer, etc. The hinge seems to be that faxes are exempt from PCI/HIPPA and other privacy regulations.
- leipert 9y agoSimple mails are not court admissible in Germany. So if you want to submit something, e.g. a termination of an ISP contract, the best way is a fax.

- notlikethis1994 9y agoOur healthcare industry seems to be unwilling to leave the 20th century.
- tehlike 9y agoThe only aspect that left 20th century is the cost of it.
- post_break 9y agoA lot of massive companies still use fax to place orders. Supporting it is a nightmare.
