Why aren’t they comparing it to parq or even bzip?
- lern_too_spel 9y agoBecause the author compares to the best domain-specific compressors (by compression ratio) for each dataset instead. For text, he used CMIX[1]. For DNA sequences, he used MFCompress[2].
