Yeah... I wouldn't have a problem with a polite request. I thought the FA was totally out of line, certainly by American standards. I had been traveling for about 55 hours by that time, on my way to Italy from a small fishing village in South America, so I was exhausted and didn't really appreciate the rudeness. I figured it was a Lufthansa thing and now I stay away from them. I haven't had the pleasure of flying Cathay Pacific yet, but I hear it's nice.
